Albuquerque Freedom 4th Celebration

The most popular thing to do in Albuquerque for the 4th of July is the Freedom 4th celebration, which is an all-ages event that takes place at Balloon Fiesta Park. The 2022 Freedom 4th celebration in Albuquerque features a great lineup of performers: Shenandoah will be headlining at 7:45 pm, but music performances start at 4 pm with Nathaniel Krantz. The 4th of July Ceremony itself starts at 7:30 pm, just before Shenandoah takes the stage for the main show.

Their performance will be followed by the biggest firework show in the state, so make sure to stay until 9:15 for the main spectacle! Local food vendors will be on-site for the duration of the event and visitors can grab a drink at The Cantina, which overlooks the main stage. There will also be free activities for kids including rock walls, face painting, a bounce house, and more

Isotopes Baseball Game

If sports are more your thing, consider attending a home game at Albuquerque’s Isotopes Park, where the local minor league team will take on Sugar Land July 2nd and 3rd! These games will feature a fireworks show at Isotope Park at the end of the games, and there will be several food and drink options to choose from.

Los Lunas Fireworks Show

The 4th of July Celebration in Los Lunas will take place at the Los Lunas Sports Complex. They will have food, live music, a beer garden, different entertainment for the kids, an artisan market, and along with all of that one of the largest fireworks displays in the state! If you’re in the Los Lunas area, don’t miss it!
